WHO MAY PARTICIPATE & APPLY TO THE CONTEST?

Any reasonably experienced sailor can participate in the challenge as far as its passion includes at least three of the following: nature and or cultural experiences, travelling, food, wine and spirits, gin & tonics and enjoying all of it in good company.

CONTEST SCHEDULE

  • Starting on September 4th 2018 at the Southampton Boat Show 2018
  • Ending on January 20th 2019 at the Dusseldorf Boat Show 2019

PRIZE

There will be a winner category and one prize, the categories are:

Boat owner category.  A bonus of € 1,000 on one of the following:

Participating with your own boat or with a local rented boat through a CS partner, in any of our rallies. You will have a bonus worth €1,000 euros towards either a local rented boat or the boat enrolment fee. If the boat fee cost will be below €1,000, your boat fee will be totally free.

OR

If you don’t wish to participate in one of our rallies and you prove you are a cruising sailboat owner you may use the € 1,000 bonus towards a berth in one of the following: Marina di Licata (Sicily), Marina Rubicon (Lanzarote) Marina Sotogrande (South of Spain) Marina di Lagos (Portugal).

Sailor category. Win €1,000 bonus to participate on board the Culture Sailing flotilla leader boat and in the organization team of one of a rallies with all boarding expenses paid by Culture Sailing. You will be exposed on how to manage and how to lead a sailing boat flotilla event. You will get our secret manual on “how to build your own rally”. At the end you could be offered to either lead a boat or be part of the Culture Sailing organization team in the next available rally if you meet the requirements.
